The North Carolina Zoo offers several summer camp options for children of all ages (1st grade – 12th) as well as children on the autism spectrum. The Zoo’s camps provide enriching and educational camps in a fun, welcoming atmosphere and include learning about animals, science, nature and conservation.

Your student can learn about anything from puffins to salamanders to rhinos to our state-of-the-art veterinarian care. Prices for the camps range from $50 - $250 and are on a first-come, first-served admittance. Already a Zoo member? KIDZ PALOOZA
May 19, 2018 Start the summer on a high note with our Kidz Palooza. This is the NC Zoo Society’s annual family-friendly event at the Zoo’s amphitheater which is fun for all ages. Join us for music, dancing, face painting, games, door prizes and food! Entrance fees are $30/child (ages 2-12) and $20 for adults. All activities are included! Pre-registration is encouraged. SUMMER FUN FOR ALL AGES
In addition to the amazing adventures with our wildlife, the Zoo offers extra activities that are fun for all ages. Paddle Boats, 4-D Theater, Carousel, Giraffe Deck, Air Hike and Zoofari are all available for an extra fee to complete your visit to the Zoo. BIRDS IN FLIGHT
Brand New for 2018 Birds in Flight is a new outdoor experience featuring exotic birds from around the world. Guests will see majestic macaws, sun conures, falcons, hawks, vultures and owls up close and personal as the birds soar by just inches away, demonstrating natural behaviors and aerial acrobatics under the open sky. The show runs April – October and has a nominal admission charge. Suitable for all ages. Limited seating.
